2. Description of Service

CookWhatYouHave is an AI-powered recipe generation platform that helps users create recipes from available ingredients. The service includes:

  • AI-powered recipe generation based on your ingredients.
  • Community recipe sharing and discovery.
  • Dietary preference and allergy management.
  • Recipe saving and favorites management.
  • PRO features including eBook publishing and advanced AI tools.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

When you share recipes to the community:

  • You retain ownership of your original recipes.
  • You grant CookWhatYouHave a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute your shared recipes within the platform.
  • You confirm that shared content does not infringe on any third-party rights.
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. PRO Subscription

  • PRO subscriptions are billed monthly at the stated rate.
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • eBooks published under PRO remain yours with full commercial rights.
  • Publication is limited to 5 eBooks per month per account.

6. AI-Generated Content

Recipes generated by our AI are provided as suggestions. CookWhatYouHave does not guarantee:

  • Nutritional accuracy of calorie estimates or dietary claims.
  • Safety for individuals with specific medical conditions.
  • That recipes are free from allergens not explicitly excluded.

Always verify ingredients if you have severe allergies or dietary restrictions.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the AI system.
  • Submit false, misleading, or harmful content.
  • Abuse the recipe generation API through automated or excessive requests.

8. Limitation of Liability

CookWhatYouHave is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to allergic reactions, foodborne illness, or financial losses from eBook sales.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
